'I have a song idea but don't play any instrument, what can i do?'
As long as you sing a top line melody to me, then i can create a backing track for you, building up a musical, chordal and rhythmic backing that is sympathetic to the tune.
I will obviously need to know the style you wish to work in etc.
'I have all the words and music in place, but can't sing at all?'
I have access to a range of session vocalists,which i am sure will bring out the best in your song.
'I have a some samples and a general vibe and want to make a dance track?'
Bring them along and we will get creative.It helps if you bring a track similar to the vibe your after so we can reference against it.
'I have a recorded song of my own,but would like to rework it from scratch?'
We can either start from scratch recording all the parts again or bring along the original parts in computer format.
'I want to remix and rework an old song'
If you want to sample an remix an old song firstly you require legal permission from the original publisher to vary the song if you intend to release it.
You may be able to build up a track around the original song and drop out the original parts once it has sparked off some inspiration.This would cut out any legal elements.
'I have never recorded before, what do i need to bring with me'
I would obviously speak to prior to coming and discuss whether i would be coming to you or what you would need to bring with you.
A studio environment is quite tiring and it helps if you are refreshed and ready for your session,so early to bed...
